Adults can be baptised by two methods. Sometimes they will be included with children during an infant baptism service. St. Giles has a Baptism Service as part of the 10am Main Service usually once a month. To book an adult baptism please come to the 10am service and pick up a form. Otherwise they will be people seeking adult membership through Confirmation. Confirmation is the laying on of hands by a Bishop and the person taking on for themselves the baptism vows. It is preceded by a course of instruction. The Baptism is then part of the same Confirmation Service. This service takes place about once a year and may be at another local church.
